Studio 22 is a professional recording studio based in Southport, Merseyside, run by Mitch Collinge. With a BA (Hons) in Music Production from the University of Central Lancashire and over 14 years behind the desk, Mitch has worked with major label artists including Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Cher Lloyd.


He currently produces new music for BBCC and holds a publishing deal with Kobalt/Kosign. Whether you need a full recording session, a radio-ready mix, or a polished master for release, Studio 22 delivers professional results at independent prices.

Common questions

After booking, you will receive a link to upload your stems or audio files via Google Drive or WeTransfer. Full instructions are included with your confirmation email.
WAV files at the same sample rate and bit depth as your session. 44.1kHz/24-bit minimum. No MP3s for mixing or mastering.
Mixing includes two revisions. Mastering includes one revision. Additional revisions are available at a reduced rate.
Absolutely. In-person sessions are welcome at the studio in Southport. Remote sessions are also available via Zoom or Google Meet.
All genres are welcome. Specialisms include UK house, organ house, piano house, pop and urban music.
